The DPF-300 EVO is a manual Depaneling system designed by Piergiacomi to efficiently handle small-sized PCBs, particularly for FR4, CEM and Aluminium materials.
Equipped with 2 shelves and 2 handles and a laminated ESD table with EPB 90°, ESD zinc-coated steel frontal feet and rear turning wheels with brake (Ø 80). The height of the worktable can be manually adjusted at three levels: 900, 1000 and 1100 mm, which improves ergonomics of work and enables easy adaptation of the device to various production stations.
The main feature of DPF-300 EVO is the possibility to change the milling cutter quickly and the patented INTERCHANGEABLE hardened steel GUIDE designed by Piergiacomi. The guide is useful to quickly assist the operator to place and then to drag the circuit until the cut is done. The special geometry of the guide avoids damaging the assembled circuit if the operator inserting it wrongly and doesn’t match perfectly the guide inside the eyelet. In fact, its special shape gives a total protection of the circuit against any possible incidents, in accordance with the latest safety standards.
Piergiacomi has designed and realized this new DPF-300 EVO to solve problems due to stress, breaking or tearing out of PCB’s fibres that often occur when using standard blades or manual tools, and that, with the increased complexity and miniaturization of the circuits, are not well tolerated. The DPF-300 EVO cuts the slot with the same quality that has an automatic system but with lower costs. DPF-300 EVO’s vacuum system allows placing the system easily and quickly in any working area.
