The SBM-1000 is a bonding machine featured with a double drawer designed for those companies looking for flexibility and high performance with no compromises on precision.
The inner bonding is realized by a traditional system using 2 or 4 pins, compatible with other systems on the market.
The union of the double drawer together with the fast HFPB bonding technology, allows to reach extremely high performance levels that can easily exceed 120 books/per hour.
The machine is supplied with a standard 6+6 simultaneous welding points, but it can be customised if needed also with welding points even on the 4 sides.
Using and programming this machine is very easy thanks to the touch screen interactive software.
All our machines use a new technology developed and patented by Piergiacomi, the High Frequency Pulse Bonding (HFPB).
The HFPB offers a lot of advantages over other technologies available on the market.
First of all it is much more flexible as it allows the bonding of almost any kind of material and configuration up to 15 mm of thickness. Thus even very thick book can be bonded easily.
Then it is really fast because it can transfer the energy from the electronic to the innerlayers much more efficiently.
It doesn’t require any particular pattern to work. A bit of copper is enough to make it working. So even a very small pad can be used with huge saving of material.
And it saves a lot of energy. Even at full power with all heads working, it can barely pass an average of 500W in the cycle.
Each head is smart with its own electronics and recognized by a unique IP address. It is capable of receiving unique information as well as sending back a feedback to the computer. Thus each head can be individually controlled.
